My story “Pushaway,” which tells the story of how my character Esti Gusev grew up in a toxic religious community on Mars, has now been published in the anthology Subversion: Science Fiction & Fantasy Tales of Challenging the Norm, edited by Bart Leib.
There are several cool things I could do tonight of a (contemporary) political nature, but instead I’m going to work on my story involves a different kind of politics, in a society that governs itself by consent.

Kicking off NaNoWriMo 2009 with a midnight write-in at Denny’s. I was writing some Long Dark material about a data trader whose arriving, for the first time in her life, on a planet (Earth). I reckon she grew up in the asteroid belt.
My story “Cold” was published in Crossed Genres, & I’ve got other writing going on too.
