A benefit for Pride Foundation is being hosted at Modern Dwellers Chocolate Lounge this evening in Anchorage. Come support Pride Foundation’s support of Alaska LGBTQ organizations, & have some really good chocolate too!

Pride FoundationPride Foundation has invested over $100,000 in twelve organizations that serve Alaska’s LGBTQ community. In addition, numerous Pride Foundation scholars hail from Alaska.

See Pride Foundation’s list of some of the recent grants and scholarships awarded to Alaska organizations.  Catch up with news and recent events about other stuff the Pride Foundation is doing in Alaska.

Most recently, Pride Foundation was at Alaska Pride Fest on Delaney Park Strip in Anchorage conducting a “free raffle.” I caught this photo of someone at Pride Foundation’s booth filling out a raffle ticket with a favorite charity (I filled one out right after taking this pic): the winning charity would $100 from Pride Foundation.

At the raffle drawing later, Tiffany McClain (at right in red jacket), Pride Foundation’s Alaska Regional Development Organizer, announced Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest-Alaska as the lucky winner. Congratulations, Planned Parenthood! A big thanks to Kristi Lee of Wasilla, who nominated them for the win.  And an even bigger thanks, Pride Foundation, for supporting individuals and organizations in Alaska that serve LGBTQ Alaskans.

You can thank Pride Foundation tonight– and help Pride Foundation continue to serve Alaskans — and also spoil your appetite with some really wonderful sweet treats!  A benefit for Pride Foundation is being hosted this evening beginning at 6:00 PM by the midtown Modern Dwellers Chocolate Lounge. Come celebrate Pride Foundation’s work in Alaska and throughout the Northwest, meet some of their volunteers and scholars, and eat (or drink!) really really good chocolate!
