These posts record my progress in the statewide University of Alaska workplace fitness program called Start Walking, which is held periodically & lasts abou6 6 months. I’ve done it twice (so far), in 2006 & 2008. Start Walking encourages participants — faculty, staff, students, & family members — to become more fit by walking 10,000 every day or the equivalent in other exercise(s) — my usual are walking, biking (before my bike was stolen), rowing, dancing, weights.
