Part 4 of Janson Jones’ True Diversity Dinner videos features Masingka Singers & Dancers, a Yup’ik dance troupe which performs widely throughout Alaska. Near the end, see dinner organizers John and Heather Aronno and speaker Diane Benson join the dancers onstage.
Here are some of my own photos of Masignka. Lighting conditions were challenging, so some are a bit fuzzy, but I hope their spirit carries through.
