Articles by Danny Ashton Earll

Danny Ashton Earll was born and raised on the Kenai Peninsula to a wonderful Mormon family. He enjoyed many church activities and spent a lot of time with his family at their cabin. Danny grew up to love all the adventures Alaska had to offer such as hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, and Snowmachining. Danny’s favorite memories are those of spending quality time with his family. This made it difficult for him once Danny came out as a lesbian and several years later as a transman. Danny began transitioning in the spring of 2010. He always knew he was different and told his mom at the age of four that he was a boy not a girl. It wasn’t until college that Danny learned what that meant. He got involved with UAA’s The Family and The Imperial Court of All Alaska as Closet King 2010-2011 and the first ever Mister Gay Alaska 2011-2012. Danny was a performer at Mad Myrna’s and continues to perform there on occasion and is also a member of The Last Frontier Drag Kings. Danny loves to volunteer and hopes to continue helping the community through his writing and volunteer work with Operation Morale Boost and The Imperial Court of All Alaska.
