Paige’s Birthday Wish: A Saturday evening of entertainment benefiting Operation Morale Boost

Paige's Birthday Wish: An evening of Alaskan entertainment for Operation Morale BoostAfter spending Thanksgiving with loved ones, help celebrate Paige’s 31st birthday this Saturday, November 26, by helping Operation Morale Boost send off packages to servicemembers unable to be with their families this holiday season.

This is the one thing Paige has asked for her birthday.  What better gift can you give, than to lift the spirits of servicemembers serving away from their homes and hearths?

[And since Paige is behind it, along with a whole lot of other determined and honest folks, you know that the monies raised will be used for their intended purpose.  You know what I’m talking about. — Ed.]

Operation Morale Boost is a volunteer committee of families, friends, and supporters of the U.S. armed forces, which puts together care packages for our deployed troops and shows our military members and their families how much we appreciate what they do for our country. Go to its Facebook page for more info on this great organization.

We will have some of the best local talent, with influences in a variety of music, both live and drag! Performers include: Chris*Star and ST-Rider of Tru City Records, GMK and Company, Celeste, Danny Cockring, Radiance, Traumatose,  Kristofer Palmatier, ALI, Sheron Kyle Patrick, THESIS, Steve Smith, Cali Delgado, Joey George, …and more!

Sugar Daddy’s will be open, so if you’re hungry, get your grub on!

Tell all of your friends! Blast this on Facebook, because it’s gonna be HOT!… and it’s for a good cause! What more do you want?!!?

  • Date/time: Saturday, November 26, doors open at 7 PM, show starts 8 PM.
  • Location: Mad Myrna’s, 530 E. 5th Ave. in downtown Anchorage (see map)
  • Cost of admission: $5.00 at the door.
  • Further info: See the Facebook events page.

For those of you attending, please feel free to bring canned items and non-perishable foods too! ICOAA Cares is collecting items from that weekend through until SnowBall (mid December), and they’ve chosen the Food Bank of Alaska as the charity this year! Your help is greatly appreciated!
