Despite distance
Chris & Rozz & Jesse & Mel (with Jesse's dog Sweetheart) on a Kenai Peninsula hike in 2006 -- & now, all over the place. But still good friends.

Diversity, unity, family
Mayor Dan Sullivan claims, with his Mayor's Unity Dinner, to be honoring values we all share, including the importance of family. But his veto last month of the Anchorage equal rights ordinance makes it clear that he only deems some families important -- and mine's not one of them.

Tributaries (poem)
I was offline most of — well, now I’ll say yesterday, Saturday, it now being early in the AM of Sunday the 14th. Saturday was the kick-off of this year’s PrideFest in Anchorage — the annual women’s show called Celebration of Change, & I performed in it again for the first time in 10 years. [...]

Ptery's recent Nevada travels
Austin, NV to Silver City, NV — overnight last night just outside Fallon. Prior to Austin, he was in the Round City, NV area (per my post a few days ago), & both before & after Round City was around Tonopah, which is south of the area of this map. View Larger Map
Round Mountain, NV
Here’s around where Ptery, formerly my partner Rozz, is now. He called me up to get help with directions. View Larger Map
