		<description>Right on, you legend, you! Great personal story with a tasty topping of perspective. I have somewhat similar feelings about being a proud member of and some-time advocate for rural communities. Although, statistically, you might see more per capita homophobic attitudes and hate crimes, I still think one has a far better chance of being accepted as an individual who happens to openly gay (and thereby changing attitudes slightly overall) in a rural area, versus a better chance of finding a clique with whom you fit in a more highly, diversely populated area.</description>
